The Cree Nation Partners (CNP)

In 2001, Tataskweyak Cree Nation (TCN) and War Lake First Nation (WLFN) formed a partnership, the Cree Nation Partners, because of our shared interest in future hydroelectric development that will impact our traditional lands.

The Cree Nation Partners, in conjunction with Fox Lake Cree Nation and York Factory First Nation, have worked with Manitoba Hydro to create a business partnership that will jointly own the Keeyask Generating Station.

In addition, the CNP, along with other First Nations, are currently working with Manitoba Hydro to examine potential development of the Conawapa Generating Station.
